Tammy Wolfe Photography

Welcome to my website. I grew up in Wisconsin but now I call Minnesota home. My interest in photography began when I got my first camera at age ten. Today it's a serious passion and part-time profession. Many of my images are the result of persistence, patience and sometimes a little luck. I often spend several hours in a photo blind, waiting for the right moment or the right light. But as a friend of mine said, “Any day spent in a blind is a good day.” Over the years I have been able to combine my love for photography with other interests in my life – travel, nature, animals and lighthouses. Though I enjoy all kinds of photography, I have always had a deep love of nature. I enjoy being outdoors and find photographing birds and mammals to be the most challenging and rewarding.

One of my images was chosen for the cover of the October 2010 Your Big Backyard magazine. My credits also include Magazines: Ranger Rick Jr, Birds and Blooms, Birds and Blooms Extra, Country, Great Laker and Lighthouse Digest ; Books: City Birds, Country Birds by Sharon Stiteler, Woodworking for Wildlife, Third Revision (including cover) by Carrol Henderson; Calendars: 2013 Minnesota Weatherguide

This is only a sample of my available images. If you have any questions about my photos or would like to contact me, please click on Contact at the bottom of the page.
